Salsa in the Streets

Come out and dance to some Latin music every Thursday!

Don't know how to dance? Don't worry! Gator Salsa Club will be teaching free classes!

6:00 PM - On1 Salsa class

7:15 PM - Bachata class

Each class has multiple levels, so we have something for absolute newbies as well as experienced dancers.

Social dancing immediately after classes from 8:30 to 11 pm, with salsa, bachata, and a splash of merengue.

The dancing is free, but please support this free event by buying drinks at The Bull, who graciously provide us with their space and equipment.

You will be supporting a good cause at the same time, as a portion of all proceeds at the bar during the event are donated to Peak Literacy, a local non-profit that responds to the large literacy disparities in Gainesville. The program is created for kids who are lagging in their reading skills and helps them to catch up with their peers quickly.
