Organizer Bio
As the largest and oldest dance group on campus, the University of Alberta Dance Club (UADC) offers an extensive range of classes and activities. Regardless of your dancing ability, there is something in the club for you.
If you're interested in instruction, the club offers classes each week in a variety of levels. Overall, the UADC teaches the 10 dances found in International Ballroom, including Waltz, Tango, Quickstep, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, Cha Cha, Jive, Rumba, Samba, and Paso Doble.
Wanting to meet new people? We offer some themed events like the Halloween Dance Party for those who like dressing up in costumes, a Valentine's Dance, and a formal ball in March.
And all this costs little more than a song and dance. As a student group we try to keep costs to a minimum and nowhere in the city will you receive so much for so little.
