Salsa Bachata Weekend Fundraiser - a Tribute to Ken Gaston

Ken's Favourite instructors from out of town will be attending this weekender to celebrate his life.

 

We are bringing Rodney "Rodchata" Aquino from San Franciso and Teddy Olaso from Toronto.

 

Also, some of Ken's instructor friends in the salsa community will be attending this event to teach Salsa and Bachata.

 

Born in Fredericton New Brunswick, Ken was well-traveled. He lived in Ontario and his home in Alberta for 30 years. Kenneth was the beloved son of the late Morrisey Gaston and Exelda Gaston. He will be deeply missed by his two sisters Kathleen Gaston-Milburn and Lynn Gaston; his niece Dallas Milburn; his nephew Peyton Milburn; by his many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and his numerous friends including his salsa community and those he met throughout his education and careers.

 

We decided to pay our respects to his memory by throwing this fundraising event in honor of him. He loved to social dance and would make everyone he danced with leave with a smile.

 

A portion of the proceeds will go to Cancer Support and Research.
