In Berkeley, every 3rd Friday of the month.

Freestyle dancing means just like it sounds: no choreography, no steps to follow, no formal leader/follower roles...just the invitation/permission to move however you are called. Solo and/or partner/group dances arise and end organically. There is no talking on the dance floor.

Musically, we strive for a large variety of styles and tempos and will feature a different DJ each time.

We're very excited to say that this Friday May 19, music will be provided by Kamla Sufi, who is a DJ and Open Floor facilitator!

DJ Kamla Sufi is an Open Floor facilitator who weaves a soul-filled variety of music from all over the world, from strong beats to luxurious melodies and always with loads of Love and Joy for you! to move, to feel, to release, to lean back into, and especially to open up your heart and smile to.

Come sweat, connect, move in meditation and dance freely on the Open Floor. All are welcome, 18+, all abilities, mobilities.
