Pre-requisites: We will be building on Zouk fundamentals with a focus on connection and flow. Level 1 basics will be required for all zoukinis to fully enjoy the experience. If you are unsure if you qualify, DM us to have a chat!
Visiting instructors, Sam (NYC) and Esther (YYC) will be sharing their accumulated knowledge on some of their favorite topics within Brazilian Zouk. Each of them has over a decade of dance experience spanning from Salsa and Bachata to Tango and Zouk. Both have been dancing Zouk for 5+ years. Their goal with this weekender is to invite attendees to explore a more comfortable and connected way of dancing, while staying true to the Brazilian Zouk roots and fundamentals.
There will be ample practica time to integrate the concepts, and breaks to rest between topics! Do bring your indoor dance shoes/socks, water, SNACKS(!!!), and a change of clothes if you need to stay fresh!
