Our Power Surge events are all about bringing our kizomba dance community a concentrated dose of learning combined with social dance. This time, we are celebrating all-Queens in the Queen City!
By day, we're hosting women-focused workshops. By night, we have a beginner lesson for everyone, delightful performances, and a dance party that goes until 2 am. The music: kizomba, semba, ghetto zouk, and more.

THE SCHEDULE
12:45 PM - 1:00 PM: DOORS OPEN
12:45 PM - 1:00 PM: DOORS OPEN
1:00 PM - 2:15PM: SHE LEADS! - This lesson is designed for women interested in developing their skills as ambi-dancers - who lead and follow in Kizomba. Gain more confidence in your leading ability! Enhance your overall dancing. WOMEN ONLY- 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE FOLLOWING REQUIRED. NO LEADING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM: BELLY DANCE w/ ASHLEY. The one and only Ashley Donaldson introduces us to the ultra-feminine art form of belly-dancing. Let's enhance our body movement and expression in Kizomba by exploring another dance style.
4:00 PM - 4:30 PM: SISTERSHIP TIME. Use this time to get to know other women in the dance community.
4:30 PM - 6:00 PM: GINGA! Explore the feminine essence of your kizomba dancing.

9:00 PM - 9:45 PM: An Intro to Kizomba lesson for Beginners - Men and Women.
10:00 PM - 2:00 AM: The Social Dance Experience is what it's all about. The night of dancing features Kizomba, Semba, Ghetto Zouk, and more.
