Special November Workshop - Kayla Maree & Jonatan Baez

 

Workshop 3 (12:15 to 1:30pm) - Vals Musicality!
We will explore the dynamics of the vals rhythmical structure through circular and linear movements.

 

Workshop 4: (1:45 to 3:00pm) - Sacadas… how, when, and why?
Master the movement’s mechanics and create a clear lead/follow understanding from any direction. Creativity is a must as we push the limits on how, when, and why the sacada!

 

Kayla took her first tango steps at age 10, Jonatan at age 16, and neither have looked back since. With a combined 45 years in the world of tango (25 years teaching) the two have never stopped striving to expand their dance. They are now working together in Charlotte, NC to share their passion for this beautiful craft. In their teaching, the duo focus on body mechanics and logic of movement for the social dancer to move comfortably all night long! Please see individual bios below.
