Jazmyne Lewis

Jazmyne is a well-versed and well-rounded dancer who began her dance journey at a wee age of 7 years old, training in ballet and tap. Though she did not begin her dance and instructor training until her adult years, the love and passion for dance did not falter. From step teams to choreographer, Jazmyne understands the meaning of true cross culture training to be the best social and performance dancer you can be for yourself. 

 

Fast forward to now; skilled in Zouk, LambaZouk, Lambada and Sensual Bachata, Jazmyne is happy to share her body movements, techniques, tips and flavor, all with a smile and energía! 

 

Proud to win 1st place at the first ever Intermediate Lambada Jack n Jill at Zouk ‘n Play 2019, train over 200 hours under Master Braz’s, and Leo and Ana Gomes’ extensive Lambada training, which led her to bring the 3rd place at the Brazouka Beach Festival 2nd annual International Lambada Competition title home to the US. In addition, she recently won three 1st place Pro-Am Mixed Rhythm and Zouk Showdance titles at the 2023 Colorado State Dance Championship. 

 

Get ready to dive into Brazilian born, African dance influence, used to be known as the “forbidden dance”. We will learn about heightened musicality at fast tempo, the ability to swap partners and dance with more than one person at a time and partner connection (Wifi connection) without physical touch.
